obama is now considering charges against the people who drafted the cia interrogation protocols. of course, he is not going to do it but let it up to his lackey the attorney general eric holder. he didn't want to prejudge or anything, no just release sensitive documents to the media, hold a press conference and get his daily time in the media limelight. what a pompous idiot. to be fair george soros who has a hand in the behind the scences take over of the world, moveon.org group is pushing for obama to do something. obama continues his campaign of hating our country and bashing it to the world, and yet he loves the power being president gives him. yesterday another one of his lackeys, "the evil elf", sec. of the treasury tim geithner continued to confuse congress about the tarp money. there are 20 different investigations into fraud i believe pending where the bailout money was used improperly. he talked today about the imf(gee isn't that the company he used to work at where he couldn't figure out turbo tax?) and the recent g20 summit where progress was made on coming up w/ uniform guidelines for the global economy. the one world economy, and the one world government is just around the corner people. we are watching it happen daily. of course, it will be for our own good. however, if you want to know the truth, read the bible especially revelations. the other thing obama did yesterday was sign his compulsory volunteer program into law. oh goodie, the government is now going to conscript people into community service programs. exactly where is the volunteer part? and w/ all this what does the ticker on cnn keep running ad nausea, obama is going to appear shirtless for a magazine cover. personally i think someone on his staff should remind him about modest dress code of being a muslim, and not everyone wants to see him topless.

joel osteen and his wife victoria, pastor of a mega church in lakewood, tx believes obama is a christian and doing a great job according to an inteview w/ larry king. what are they smoking? obama's fruit so far as president, casts doubt in my mind that he is a christian, reversing stem cell research law, abortion. everything is against judeo-christian principles. even obama has stated it was his muslim faith and george stephanopolous corrected him, by saying "your christian faith". then to the world he bashed our country, and used his muslim background with great pride to win over the muslim world (he hopes) and proclaims according to an earlier post, we aren't a christian nation but a nation of citizens. he says what people want to hear not what is true. if we take the religious factor out, i ask how can the osteens think he is doing a good job at being president? his policies are risky at best, have no guarantee to fix our economy, secure our national security, by bowing to our enemies and trying to be the worlds friend. he wants to cut our military. gee clinton dismantled it during his presidency, and we got 9/11 in return. the bible warns us of false prophets and teachers in the last days. obama duped america to get elected, now he is trying to dupe the world, and apparently he duped the osteens who now are trying to dupe us into believing obama is a great guy. we need to wake up america.

obama attacks us in france & other things

obama attacks america in france and claims we have arrogance and wants us to be more like france according to fox news sean hannity's reporting. he demeaned us, and claimed they have the lead and we need to follow europe. he forgets history, if it wasn't for the brave men in wwII, europe would not have survived. secondly, he wants no more nuclear weapons, while n. korea launches a missle. now he said in turkey he wants to partnership w/ the muslim world. point in fact, he bows to the saudi, who promotes terrorism. his muslimness shining through. everything he says and does of late is not for the benefit of our country or well being. he rather is cutting us down on the world stage and capitulating to countries who don't really care for us all that much. even in england, he and the first lady show their ineptness, they gave the queen an ipod full of show tunes. mrs. obama failed to curtsey to the queen and hugged her besides. we need to wake up america and see obama has an agenda that is in direct conflict w/ our security. he is trying to be friends w/ everyone and play nice w/ our enemies is going to lead to peace. while domestically his economic policies w/ the blessings of congress will further dismantle our country.

opposing views

obama's lead economic advisor christina romer thinks the economy will begin to recover by the end of the year. on her interview w/ cnn's john king, she said fannie and freddie may need to be broken up to make them more manageable and to avert another mortgage crisis. she also said she wasn't sure if it was useful to get to the bottom of how the recent stimulus came to protect the aig bonuses. is that because it would lead to chris dodd and obama's 100K campaign contributions from aig. or chris dodd being instrumental in allowing aig to offer such bonuses to employees after such a massive bailout? or perhaps it would show tim geithner's complicity in aig and other reckless economic ideas that continue to undermine our economy left unchecked?
now lets consider jud gregg, R-NH, who says obama's 10 yr.budget blueprint is bankruptcy for the U.S.. hmmm. perhaps that is the real reason gregg didn't get that commerce post. gregg is too smart to be considered for obama's administration. he figured out where obama's ideas are going to lead us, and he still has some dignity and morals to say no. obama wants people to believe in him just because he's obama, we need to tell him NO just like gregg did, otherwise we're doomed to fail.

is obama worried?

obama is re-enlisting volunteers to help push through his ambitious agenda. he is good at getting people stirred up, but he hasn't exactly been doing great at trying to keep his administration from putting out fires that keep erupting. chris dodd helped w/ allowing aig to get bonuses, now he is leading the show w/ his mock outrage. obama says in tonight's 60 minutes interview that geithner is stuck w/ the treasury job and he would not accept geithner's resignation. even though geithner has been dropping the ball ever since his nomination and tax problems. now geithner has to explain how buying toxic assets is going to help our economy. a few weeks ago on glenn beck's show, there was a segment about trouble w/ the economy in 1920. our government choose not to intervene, and the free market righted itself within a year. fast forward to 1929, the author of new deal or raw deal on beck stated fdr decisions made the depression last longer.
obama said in a recent interview we should blame him over the mess w/ aig. i say lets listen to him and start calling for a change in leadership. it's almost like his agenda is to ruin our country by appointing the most inept group of people to advise him.

a tip on sending a teabag to obama

on glenn beck's show airing on 3/20 he had a guy who does a reprisal of sir thomas paine on youtube. the actor said that if people were going to send in teabags to the white house on 4/1. he said that you are supposed to mail in just the tag, otherwise the teabag would be treated as potentially hazardous and discarded by the postal service. however the tags are supposed to be able to pass the screening process. just thought i would pass it on to the group.

obama is running the presidency like a campaign

obama is running his presidency like he is still on the campaign trail. he wants us to ignore his part in the aig mess that he takes responsibility for, rather refocus on his ambitious agenda.for us ...who cares if it works, obama apparently doesn't just as he distracts us long enough that he is leading us down a path of financial ruin rather than prosperity. our current congress is full of political and financial opportunists. everyone should be asking, who else besides obama and dodd received campaign donations from aig? how many worked toward pork projects for their states in order to get a yea on the stimulus and omnibus passed recently. we are not waking up america. this is not a dream. it is our nightmarish reality if we don't change course. obama wants to celeb it up by being on tv and joking. now he is going to be on 60 minutes where he is critical of bush letting some gitmo detainees go and they headed back to being terrorists. my question is what does obama think his decision of closing gitmo does for the detainees? his action is far more reckless than bush trying to figure out the really bad guys and the not quite as bad, and some bad ones got out. obama solution, let everyone go, but don't focus on what i'm doing, just remember what a screwup bush was. and then flash the big goofy grin and people will believe me. and then i'll hit them w/ another presidential address after geithner stumbles w/ explaining the toxic asset program. or since people believe and trust me, i'l unveil it first like i did last time. and tim can handle the followup questions. the truth is the toxic asset program will be the final nail in our coffin as a nation, since everyone will be in debt, the fdic will end up broke the fed reserve will continue to devalue our dollar. hello socialism and a one world new economy and government.

even iran spurns obama and toxic assets

the ayatollah of iran considered obama's speech rhetoric. if he can see through the facade of obama why can't the majority of americans? obama wants to reach out to the muslim world w/ mutual respect and interests. iran's interest include acquiring nuclear weapons, and seeing israel wiped off the map, does obama share the same ideas? we've had a long standing policy not to have diplomatic relations w/ countries that sponsor terrorism. and now obama wants to change that. everything obama changes goes from bad to worse so far.
on a different topic, tim geithner is going to be unveiling a new toxic asset plan possibly on monday. oh goodie. i am not an economist by any means. i get a money in the bank and pay my bills and am trying to save some. however from what i know from my limited knowledge of bookeeping an asset is seen as a good thing. now toxic means harmful or poisonous. so by definition toxic asset is an oxymoron.devised by tim geithner a complete moron.who was appointed by obama.(fill in your own word here).
according to the news report posted on yahoo, geithner wants to tap the fed reserve who just printed 1.2T in new money. and have the fdic involved as well, since it is unlikely that congress will be in a giving mood to dole out anymore money. is this a sound strategy? the fdic is the entity that insures the money we have in the bank will be there if the economy goes bad. geithner isn't done there, the first part involves creating a public-private partnership. where the treasury would hire a couple of investment firms to match private money with government funds. what money does our government have to put in? we'll have a 9.3T deficit over the next decade even before this ill conceived program may be launched.
secondly, geithner wants to expand the fed reserve program TALF, which provides loans to investors to buy up consumer debt so it will be easier for the consumers to get a car loan, student loan or credit cards. now that makes a whole lotta sense. the fed loans money to people so they can buy up other people's debt, so then the latter group can get in debt all over again. now for geithner's coup de grace, he wants the fdic(who keeps our money safe) to form partnerships and loan them money. these new partnerships would then use the money to buy up more toxic assets.that would be our money at risk too. the end result, the banks would get the bad debt off the books and be free to lend again. so now everybody will be in debt. and geithner was touted as the genius to get us out of our economic woes, they even overlooked his being a tax cheat. does this sound like a plan of a genius or a complete idiot? i heard a news commentator say on fox news shortly after obama was elected and they were working on their economic plans. he likened the plans as risky at best, to making love to a gorilla i believe. you are not finished till the gorilla is. we are in trouble people. when will we say ENOUGH NO MORE!

1.2 trillion pumped in by the fed reserve

while tim geithner and chris dodd are bickering over aig and who is to blame, ben bernake and the fed reserve pumped in 1.2T in our economy which devalues the dollar even more. it is only on paper w/ nothing to back it up. and now obama's plan is going to give us 9.3T in deficit in the coming decade. more than 4 times the rate during bush's presidency. how is his change good for our country? we are going deeper in debt and punished for prosperity in the few areas that are economy is still in the black, congress can arbitrarily set a new tax rate at will is the lesson we should take from aig. we are under the government gone wild tax and spend democratic majority of bigger government heading toward socialism. a note on the socialist healthcare front, we should take a note from the tragic passing of natasha richardson. she at first refused medical attention and then was rushed to a hospital in quebec canada after not feeling well. now there are reports they are looking at her quality of care she received. other reports said if she had received prompt medical attention she would have survived. unfortunately hindsight is 20/20. there are other stories of canadians coming here when they need medical attention. obama has ruined everything he has had a hand in so far, we need to save our healthcare system from his socialist agenda and restore order to our country. we need to stay the u.s.a.

congress wants to take away the aig bonus by imposing a 90% tax. that is unconstitutional to automatically impose a tax after the fact without a trial.
armyy troops were sent to sampson, al last week in the wake of the tragic shooting rampage. this violates Posse Comitatus Act which prohibits troops from conducting law enforcement duties unless authorized by an act of congress.
eric holder, u.s. attorney general still trying to attack the 2cd ammendment. on glenn beck, the automatic weapons used in mexico by the drug cartels to wreak havoc on the border towns apparently have been sold by our government to mexico. then corruption landed the weapons in the hands of the bad guys. the attorney general's solution w/ some congressional support of a few members? limit our right to defend ourselves and try and take guns away from law abiding u.s. citizens. when will we wake up and say No More?

obama offends and defends on leno. add special olympians as the latest group our president has offended. he likened his bowling to being in the special olympics to leno. this guy is beyond belief. he started offending by not giving a return salute when boarding marine one until someone told him that was not proper and i guess he then started. next he made a comment to a buddy while at his super bowl party he stated jessica simpson was losing the battle w/ her weight. next he offended the british by giving 25 dvds that wont play in britain dvd players and returned the winston churchill bust to their prime minister. on leno he also defended tim geithner that he is doing a good job. oh really? this moring on fox & friends even geraldo rivera believes that geithner should not be sec. of the treasury. he should have withdrew after his tax issue. and he can't complete 3 sentences. connie mack (R) FL thinks geithner should resign or be fired.
personally i think a special olympian would do a better job than our president has at trying to get along w/ people. they are honest, treat everyone with respect, and display tremendous courage at doing their best. not our leader. he is weak, has no tact or respect for anyone except maybe iran and his other muslim brothers. he only loves himself.

when will obama stop getting a free pass?

when will obama stop getting a free pass from the media and we the people? he talks about accountability and transparency. we see what he, congress, and others are doing to our country that is having a negative impact on the economy, national security, etc...however where is the accountability? so far congress wants to make the aig bonuses 90% taxable after the fact. according to glenn beck the other day, the bonuses cover up how much taxpayer money went to england, germany, i believe dubai was on the list also. billions went to each country, they want us to focus on the 165M in bonuses rather than the billions. also w/ regard to aig, sen. chris dodd is reportedly going to give back his 103K campaign contribution from aig. no word whether obama is going to give back his. in other news reports 13 companies that received bailout money, owe millions in taxes. how do this work in any economic model? apparently it could if your name is daschle, rangel or geithner. obama said blame him and move on. i think we should and move on to his impeachment hearing. and get rid of the other bad apples in government if we want to have a hope and future for our country. if we liken obama to a ceo of U.S.A. Inc. should he be fired? he closed down our security firm at gitmo to protect us from attacks from without hours after being sworn in as CEO. he has spent approx. 1B dollars an hour of the shareholders money during his tenure so far. what do we have to show for it? this might work, we hope this works. and our company sinks deeper in the red than ever before. he admits he doesn't understand how the stock market works and days later professes our economy is strong. his board of directors is filled w/ crooks and tax cheats. and while we are in economic distress he is hosting lavish parties, meeting with other ceos(and offending some by his actions, we apologize to england), picking the winner of the NCAA basketball championship, appearing on jay leno. and next week we get another insufferable presidential address. the guy will spout his rhetoric, smile broadly and promise us whatever he has to to keep up his ratings and the charade a little longer. when will we wake up and see his promises are as empty as our bank accounts, gas tanks, and refrigerators are going to be? with him as president and college basketball this is definitely the march to madness.

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. Since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change; I gave it to them.I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

obama is being generous, right?

obama is going to give approx. $500 to small business owners, that will help. i know when i had a christian bookstore, from '94-06, my phone bill was more than the residential rates, so were the electric bills. shipping for products cost more, which i couldn't pass on to my customers and still have people coming in the door. taking credit cards cost more to support customer payment convience. finally the internet and walmart took away the majority of my customer base by selling the same products often times for less than i could get it from my suppliers. people think you make a killing owning your own biz. i had a profit margin between 35-40% and then i had to pay my bills and reinvest for new product. obama has no clue, what a small business contends with to stay open.
on another topic that supposed $13 per week we are supposed to be getting back in our check isn't true in our household. my wife's net pay jumped a whomping $5 net and my check was $0. my disability check from social security i got a cost of living adjustment of $47 net after my medicare premium jumped up accordinly. in previous years i got $6 increase per month for 3-4 years, one year it was $20 then back to $6. this year $47.

aig execs getting over 100M in bonuses as part of the bailout even though they have reported losses after all of the money they have already received. further proof that bailouts of throwing good money after bad hasn't worked for either bush or obama administrations. we need to put the brakes on a runaway government. so much for obama stopping earmarks, joe biden giving 1.3B for amtrak and a couple hundred million to his home state of DE. i am guessing the transparency obama speaks of is pretty soon we'll be able to see from one wall of the treasury to the other....because it will be empty. when will we put an end to the politicians on both sides from wasting our money?

director of national intelligence admiral dennis c. blair doesn't believe iran has nuclear interests in mind. meanwhile russian major general vladmir dvorkin thinks iran is working on a missle development program that could threaten all of europe. this was on the fox news ticker on 3/13/09 during glenn beck's program.
check out www.the912project.com for glenn's new site lauched on friday's show. on a different topic, i was at my local gun shop friday afternoon and purchased a ,22-250 rifle to go woodchuck hunting with this spring/summer and possibly for my wife to use during rifle deer season this fall. the gun shop owner metioned that their is an email circulating that we are supposed to send a tea bag to obama on april 1st at the white house. can anyone confirm this? he probably won't be there to get it, i think he'll be at an economic summit and trying to reassure china to keep buying up our debt, since they have concerns apparently over their investment and our ability to repay them.

President Barack Obama on Saturday downplayed divisions between the U.S. and Europe over how to tackle the world's financial crisis and said China should have "absolute confidence" that its sizable investments in the United States are safe.
In a conversation focused heavily on the economy, Obama met in the Oval Office with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. It was the latest in a series of talks the president has had with his counterparts around the world before a pair of international meetings where the economic crisis will dominate.
Both leaders will attend the Group of 20 countries summit in London on April 2, and the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad in mid-April.
Obama said the notion that the U.S. and Europe are already taking sides, with America pushing for more stimulus spending and European nations favoring tighter regulation of the financial industry, is a "phony debate."
"I can't be clearer in saying that there are no sides," Obama told reporters after the meeting. He said a full range of approaches, including stimulus spending such as his own recently enacted $787 billion package, and financial regulation, are needed to help revive the global economy.
Financial regulation "is front and center" among the issues he wants to deal with, he said.
"In my mind, at least, there is no conflict or contradiction between the positions of the G-20 countries and how we're going to be moving forward," Obama said, adding that differences in details were being worked out. "I expect to have a productive meeting."
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who had pushed for Europe to match Washington's $787 billion package of spending and tax cuts, said Saturday that there was "broad consensus globally on the need to act aggressively to restore growth to the global economy. Geithner spoke in London at a prepratory meeting of finance officials from the rich and developing G-20 countries.
At home, Obama also sought to assure China that its investments in the U.S. are safe.
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao had said Friday he was concerned about the safety of the estimated $1 trillion his country has invested in U.S. government debt. China is Washington's biggest foreign creditor, and Obama's administration is counting on the Chinese to help pay for the $787 billion economic stimulus package by buying U.S. bonds.
"Of course we are concerned about the safety of our assets. To be honest, I'm a little bit worried," Wen said. "I would like to call on the United States to honor its words, stay a credible nation and ensure the safety of Chinese assets."
Wen — and other investors — needn't worry, Obama said.

Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday said he believed there were signs that the public's confidence is growing in the administration's ability to tackle the financial crisis. He credited the "Obama factor."
"There is no doubt in our minds and there is no doubt in the president's mind that in fact we will overcome this. We will climb out of this hole," Biden told The Associated Press in a phone interview. "It just takes some real perseverence and you've got to have a guy as gutsy as the president who's willing to make some really tough decisions."
Biden, who was in Little Rock on Saturday night to help Sen. Blanche Lincoln kick off her re-election bid, said he believed the economy was showing some signs of hope.
"Consumer confidence is slightly up. The market is slightly up," Biden said. "It'll go down again, but the people are beginning to figure out that the president's got a plan and he believes we can work our way through this."
During his appearance at the White House, Silva said the crisis gives world leaders an "extraordinary opportunity" to demonstrate to their people that they are capable of handling major issues. He said it was critically important to create jobs, create incomes and boost consumption.
"We are in a large ship and water is leaking," Silva said, speaking through a translator. "Now is the time to fix the leaking and make the economy go back to the tracks."
Obama discussed the global economic crisis on Friday during telephone calls to his counterparts in Argentina, Indonesia, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. He also has discussed the issue during recent Oval Office meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.

President Obama took a lighthearted jab at Republicans Saturday after a nearly 35-minute press op with Brazilian President Lula da Silva in the Oval Office.
It came when a Brazilian reporter asked him whether he planned to visit the Amazon. Obama joked: "You know, I would love a trip to the Amazon. I suspect that the Republican Party would love to see me travel through the Amazon and maybe get lost."
Obama said he was looking forward to visiting Brazil, though no dates had been set.
"I will tell you that because I'm somebody who grew up in Hawaii, I felt it was very important that I at least go to Rio, where I understand the beaches are pretty nice."

another tax cheat sworn in

hilda solis sworn in as sec. of labor by an 80-17 vote, her husband owed taxes since clinton was president on his auto business. she also should have excused herself from nomination due to a possible conflict of interest since she had worked for a pro union goup. however it is just further evidence that obama and his cronies don't have to answer to anyone and apparently get carte blanche to continue their quest to ruin our country. i am not condoning bernie madoff (with everyone's money) but his 50B ponzi scam got him a jail cell.obama and congress have spent over a trillion dollars in under 60 days. according to fox news obama administation have spent approx. 1B an hour since he got in office. when are we going to start holding them accountable? where is peoples' common sense?

congress may not pass omnibus

on fox today, they was a report that congress may not be able to pass the latest 410B spending bill loaded w/ congressional piggies. nancy pelosi gave a deadline of tomorrow and if they can't get the votes, there will be no pet projects and the spending level will remain at last year's budget rates. and according to some reports she is not happy about it. it would definitely be a black eye on the democratic party steamroller running over economy. and would also tarnish obama and maybe his white house of cards may be starting to fall down around his big ears. let's hope we are starting to wake up and so have some of our congressional leaders.

gee another cabinet post yet to be filled. annette nazareth didn't even get to the vetting stage before she is passed as a candidate for deputy sec. of the treasury. what is going on? all the criminals seem to be part of obama's inner circle and they get their posts. right tim geithner? what could poor annette have done not to make it to the vetting stage? i mean our standards are so low in our government leaders these days and yet we are surprised how poorly our country is doing. according to the news story about ms. nazareth, there are 17 unfulfilled positions under geithner as yet. my question what are their jobs going to be? tutor him on the finer points of turbo tax? we need to wake up. obama is no midas, everything he has touched so far has turned to crap. on the view today, joy behar and sherri and whoopi are still rallying for him. they determined that he needs at least 6 months in office before we start even thinking about being critical of him. my only problem w/ that logic is this...if he can do all the damage he has done to this point in a month and a half, what more havoc can he cause in 4.5 months?

i think mike huckabee being an evangelical pastor, cant get over the fact mitt romney is a mormon. which is based on the bible partly and the book of mormon mostly. they are a cult. check out video the godmakers I and II. however, mitt romney has allot of good points as far as fixing the economy and smaller government. unfortunately he won't get the support of conservative evangelical christians if he chooses to run in '12. however obama is a muslim socialist masquerading as a christian and look at the damage he has done to our country in a month and a half.for christians the also focus on pro life anti abortion as the primary quality to look for in a politician, however there are many other issues facing our country as well. and we are never going to end abortion permanently. it has been a problem down through history. personally i think huckabee is using his 15 minutes to get ahead financially and possibly politically. will he be a viable candidate in 3 years i doubt it/. the gop needs a better game plan, even if obama continues to kill his chances as at a second term. the dems will still want the powerbase of congress plus the white house rule. if they lose the congress in '10, they will want the white house even more.
we need to take our democracy back. or the u.s. is going to be absorbed globally w/o anyone realizing we've been had. if this wasn't the case, canada wouldn't be pushing obama socialism message, bank nationalization, and socialized medicine. and hillary would not be giving the keys to our country to china if we default on our mounting debt.

gov. kathleen sebelius has been picked by obama to be hhs secretary. i find it interesting that a month ago according to wikipedia gov. sebelius withdrew her name from obama's cabinet considerations. at one point i guess she was even in the running for vp before obama settled on " you don't mess with joe" biden. my question is what changed her mind so quickly to accept the position? she is a political hybrid of sorts, her father in law was u.s. rep keith sebelius a republican and her husband k. gary sebelius is a federal magistrate. another fact in '06 election she got mark parkinson, former kansas state gop party chair to switch to a dem to run as her lt. gov.her governorship hasn't been stellar , this moth they had a budget crisis where they face ious for tax refunds due to a lack of tax revenues, maybe not making payroll for state employees. there was a budgetary standoff and she cut 7M for educational funding. cato institute gave her a d rating for due to rapid spending growth and tax increases. another tax and spend democrat.

cnn reports that mitt romney is the 2012 frontrunner according to the straw polls. my question is why? he bailed out f the '08 primary way too early and he had better campaign financing than mcquitter at the time romney left. bobby jindal is second. however i don't think he has what it will take to beat an obama second term run or a possible hillary run. according to media reports his gop response to obama's state of the union address wasn't well received. ron paul coming in third, doesn't have the voter base to win the gop nomination, even though some of his ideas are good; less government, lower taxes, which are strong gop points to use against the dems if we get to an election in '12. however some of his ideas are radical like abolishing fbi, cia, federal income tax according to wikipedia. the other factor is his age by '12 he will be 77 yrs old. some people thought mccain was too old at 72 to run for president. sarah palin, finished fourth behind paul. i truly believe every politician, both gop and democrat are terribly afraid of palin. and therefore the media is still out to sabotage her political career to keep her far from d.c. i think she will say what she means and means what she says and if given the opportunity will clean washington like she did in alaska. we need a candidate that will be honest, and actually is a conservative and follows the constitution. we need to weed out the moderates like arlen specter, nancy collins, olympia snowe and john mccain. as well as the 40% of republicans that bought into the democratic spending spree. we have to set aside politics and support people who hold on to our core values as americans. may God bless and guide america. and may we have a country left in 4 yrs.

last week on fox news special report w/ bret baier, they had an interview w/ sec. of state hillary clinton discussing n. korea's nuclear ambition, however she stumbled and backtracked while trying to explain whether they had any nuclear capabilities. she said there was no way to confirm they have or don't have them. there is assumptions they do, however no one can tell them where they might have it if they do. she wasn't very articulate or confident, however the media let's it slide. however, bush ran into much the same interference trying to confirm saddam had wmds prior to going to war and the democrats ridiculed him over the military's inability to confirm them post invasion. talk about a double standard, hillary contends the same thing in n. korea and people take it as fact, bush does it and he is campaign fodder and a laughingstock. we need to have standards for our political leaders and they should be uniform across the board.

where does he get that idea. he won and has gloated and wants to work w/ his gop colleagues. when did he ever view the gop as colleagues? he has taken every opportunity to run the gop in the ground...doing nothing won't work, except it did work according to the author on glenn beck tonight that wrote meltdown, in 1920. the economy fixed itself w/in 2 years w/out government intervention.
i think obama has taken his cue from sen. boxer, who threatened in the senate doing nothing was not a viable option. and their still is an anti gop sentiment coming strongly from obama and his party. i really like mike enzi(R) WY speech showing how many programs were still not omitted from the stimulus package. he said it shouldn't be a grab bag for all the special projects congress has had shelved for years. and if we are in need of it to be in such a hurry, how come he has time to have debates?
we need an overhaul of our government. the other scary thing on glenn beck recently is the fact obama is moving the power of the census bureau away from sen gregg in the commerce dept. and given it rahm emmanuel. which according to glenn beck allows for them to control welfare state appropriations, electoral college votes, congressional redistricting w/o any outside double checking of the number estimates. more government control without any safeguards to we the people.

obama is flying under the radar as if he was playing a game of survivor. and letting those around him do his bidding a dirty work. last night he promised that sec. of treasury would outline part 2 of the bailout plan. however according to the yahoo news link, "it is short on details." secondly the stimulus package passed the senate 61-37. and just on fox news hours before the vote. people found buried deep in the bill stuff that seemed to suggest it was aimed at socialized medicine with rationing healthcare for the elderly. arlen specter (R) from PA strongly denied that the government would do such a thing to the american people.asked if it turned out that it was indeed a step toward socialized healthcare, would he vote no. he hemmed and hawed about already making a commitment blah blah blah. and i guess he voted yes since it passed.
all while this is going on, obama is hugging people in fl, peddling his crap and people are cheering and all smiles. we will we tell obama and his cohorts, we the tribe have spoken...and vote their butts off...we need to take back our country and save ourselves.

on yahoo news there was a story today that obama plans to cut the deficit in half by end of term. this is quite interesting since he said he inherited 1.3 trillion from bush. how does he want to do this? cut funding for the iraq war, and reverse bush tax cuts for people making over 250K. cutting back on the iraq war will put our troops at even greater risk and less equipment to do their job. and small businesses who are the backbone of our country and happen to still be in the black despite the government mishandling it's responsibility will now get to pay even higher taxes for the hard work. sounds like clinton, he cut the military and raised taxes after he promised not to. and the dems say there was a budget surplus that bush squandered. we also got 9/11 because of the clinton administration ignoring the signs and cutting our military readiness. the other interesting fact obama doesn't seem to remember his $878B stimulus as part of the deficit. how convenient for him. what is this guy smoking? he is nero and fiddling while we crash n' burn

who believes obama? i don't. why cheer his speech? we shouldn't. he says he doesn't believe in bigger government yet it's getting bigger w/ everything he proposes, they don't want to nationalize banks and yet want a bigger stake in citibank? federal regulators have shut down 14 banks this year. why? he said banks need to free up lending. the government is in debt, banks are in debt, auto industry in debt. he wants us in debt. obama wants universal healthcare, and recently laughs when it is referred to as socialized medicine. speaking of the u.s. auto industry, his crack advisory team 80% drive foreign cars. does anyone in government including obama care about our country? he is cutting aid to already barely surviving u.s. farmers, cutting military spending in iraq. and apparently nobody can do math. he is cutting out the bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% of americans that leaves 98% left, and 95% will not see a tax increase, not one dime if they or their company make less than 250K. what about the 3% between 95-98? congress has no fiscal responsibility, first some like tom daschle, charlie rangel don't even bother to pay taxes. hillary and bill hide their money in their foundation. the kennedys have trusts. the super wealthy keep the bulk of their wealth. to add even more insult and burden to us, congress is getting ready to pass 410B regular spending bill packed w/ 9000 earmarks for crickets, berries, grapes, tattoo removals. when is obama going to hold to his promises? apparently he isn't. at his fiscal responsibility summit, his economic council advisor larry sumners fell asleep. according to mike steele, rnc chmn, obama has spent 36B every day he has been in office so far. where is his fiscal responsibility? my mom has always said, if you can lie you can do anything. she loathes liars, apparently obama can lead us to ruin, with congress and america cheering him wildly on...when will we wake up and start caring and say STOP enough is enough?

stock market has no confidence in bo

need more proof, obama is a self indulging overblown windbag of rhetoric? the stock market is dropping. if they really believed the president, and had confidence in what he promised there would be a surge toward the good. it rallied a couple hundred pts. after
hearing the government didn't want to nationalize banks(supposedly). i firmly believe they do. they want us to be socialists, and squeeze evey dime out of us till capitalism and democracy is dead.
and a news report on cnn about sen. robert byrd is critical of obama appointing "czars" in health, urban development, and climate change because they would not be subject to congressional approval and could claim executive privilege and only have to answer to obama. apparently obama is hijacking our country out from under us, with the blessing of congress and the majority of americans. we are in big trouble. obama has his agenda moving swiftly, we are heading for the cliff and he is cutting our brakes

wolf in sheep's clothing

a follow up thought on obama and lying. he is telling us what we want to hear. however it's not true. if you tell someone a lie long enough they will start to believe it as true. it worked for hitler to satan. hitler got the jews on the trains promising them freedom and a better life only to end up at the death camps. and satan, he got eve and subsequently adam to eat the fruit by not following what God said was true, but rather they believed the lie and lost what God had created for them. now we have sin, toil for food, mortality, etc. we only will have our faith in God to see us through. we can't put our trust in man. i wouldn't want to be in obama's shoes on judgement day. Lord knows, i'm not perfect either but reversing abortion policies, stem cell research projects back on and whatever else that goes against God. obama's future not looking that bright then. and to be honest, i am having a hard time w/ pastors in churches and on radio and tv. saying we should pray for obama as our president as part of our christian duty. my mom says we should pray God's will be done. after all God raised up good kings and rulers when israel was following God, however when they turned their backs on God, they were allowed to be defeated by evil kings and taken into captivity. anyone else have any thoughts?

does obama iraq pullout remind anyone of the 60's

does obama's planned pullout from iraq sound rather familiar to our strategy in vietnam. where we started as advisers, and now we our ending iraq in an advisory role. the other thing is jim demint R SC called obama the best salesman of socialism. when will we wake up and see beyond the flashy smile, big ears and listen to what obama really means and not just what he says?

what i think obama really meant

i don't think obama cares one iota about the 2cd ammendment. in his mind i think he means the right to bare arms. in how many pictures of my wife in sleeveless outfits can be shown in the media. the more the government gives us, the more they will require from us. like glenn beck said obama and our politicians are shredding the constitution. also on glenn beck yesterday, he had author bernie goldstein, who wrote "slobbering love affair between barrack obama and the mainstream media." another website mentioned on beck's show recently was media malpractice see http://www.howobamagotelected.com/ for more info.
when will the truth get out? when will we change course and get our country back? on the post re: obama's lips, i did notice he had bluish lips during the state of the union address. however he didn't submit any records when he was a canidate, i doubt we'll know anything since he became president unless he collapses during one of his many tv press conferences. if he keeps smoking, he's doing his part to fund the schip bill that gets it's funding from taxes on tobacco. i say keep on puffing, if he doesn't care about his health, we shouldn't either.

pork bill does have odor

we shouldn't be surprised that the pork bill includes almost 2B for swine odor control in iowa. my question, how can we control the stench coming from washington, d.c.? on another point, obama seems to be trying to adopt one of glenn beck's core principles, that "he is working for the american people." and is going to be challenging the status quo in dealing w/ lobbyists. obama is delusional, he appointed lobbyists in his administration, tom daschle didn't make it due to his tax fraud, tim geithner made it in spite of his. this from the guy who pushed over a trillion dollars on the americian taxpayers in just over a month w/ 2 spending bills, while he complained about the trillion dollars inherited from bush. we are getting the same old tax and spend democratic leadership. he is just saying his recycled campaign speak. his actions as president don't match his words. why aren't people listening?
